We submit to you this letter of recognition for Ronnie Oehl, Foreman for Zoellner Construction, for his performance of the A.C. Brase Arena Renovation Project. Ronnie was a major factor in the success of our project not only with his own construction duties but also with all of day-to-day coordination for all of the other contractors.
Ronnie always maintained a very professional demeanor with all of the contractors as well as with all of our staff and our customers. He was always very conscientious of our programs and our facility events. Ronnie has excellent communication skills as well as a very friendly and business-like demeanor. He kept our staff up to date on the various projects and responded to our needs or to the architect in a very timely manner. You should be proud to have such a quality employee on your staff.
Ronnie became part of our extended family. We will all miss him and look forward to working with him again in the future.
We would also like to commend two of your other employees who were a major part of this project, Larry Brewer and Willie Kester. Their performances over the five months were exceptional as well. They are quality employees and we were very pleased with all of their work as well. They too will both be missed.

City of Perryville
Zoellner Construction is a well-respected, industry-leading construction company in Perryville that has successfully built a number of industrial projects for the City of Perryville, as well as other commercial structures in Perry County. Currently they are the general contractor on a multi-million dollar data processing center for The Bank of Missouri and are also currently working on multiple projects for the City, including roof repairs to the Perry Park Center and a sludge storage tank at our Wastewater Treatment Plant. Once complete, both will add to the long list of projects they have completed for the City over the years. The Zoellner family is personally invested in our community and contribute both time and resources to several quality causes in the Perryville area. They have been an asset to the community for several years and we look forward to working with them again in the future. Sincerely yours,
Deborah M. Gahan, Mayor[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]
Southeast Missouri State University
During the past nine years, I have worked with Zoellner Construction Co., Inc. on several large projects for the university, including: Renovation of the Perryville Higher Education Center, renovation of Towers South and Towers East dormitories (each 12 floors), construction of a riverfront park with walking trails, signage and a gazebo, renovation of three chemistry laboratories, renovation of two physics laboratories and an equipment room, installation of fire sprinklers, fire alarm, lighting, and ceilings in Myers Hall, a five floor dormitory, and construction of a new 11,500 SF building for the treatment of autism. The work included all disciplines of construction: demolition, grading, carpentry, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, landscaping, etc.
When Zoellner is awarded one of my projects, it gives me a sense of relief because I know that the project will be run smoothly. I know that the project will be done on schedule and that on any issues that are encountered during construction, they will work with the university to suggest solutions that are viable and economically feasible. In some instances, changes cannot be avoided due to unforeseen conditions or owner’s change of plans.
Both Zoellner and the subcontractors they have used on campus are very familiar with all aspects of building construction, both interior and exterior work. I anticipate using them to complete many future projects and am hopeful that they choose to continue their working relationship with the university.
